As you can see from the photos the handset is very similar to the X10 mini pro however this handset is currently code named the Mango. It’s clear that Sony Ericsson are trying to cover their entire Fan-base this year by releasing updates to every handset in their portfolio. What’s most exciting from these photos is that as you can just about make out from the bottom left image the phone is running Android 2.3. From this we can guess that the handset will most likely have at least a 1ghz processor. The current X10 mini pro with a 600Mhz processor can currently only run 2.1and actually ships with 1.6 in many instances.
Sony have also added two touch buttons for the menu and back keys but but have left a tactile touch button for the home key. The keyboard seems to be almost identical to the X10 mini pro’s. At the moment we can’t see many other differences between the two but we’re hoping to get a powerful handset in a small design. As soon as we find out any more details we’ll let you know right here on your favorite mobile phone blog.
